Reunion set at University Park for former and current New Kensington students

UPPER BURRELL, Pa. -- Former Penn State New Kensington students who are finishing their bachelor's degree studies at Penn State University Park, and current New Kensington students, faculty and staff are getting together for a reunion. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 19, in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center on the University Park campus.

The campus delegation is headed by Kevin Snider, chancellor, and Andrea Adolph, director of academic affairs. The reception features remarks by Penn State administrators. Discussion topics cover academic preparedness and the transition process.

More than 160 former New Kensington students are matriculating at University Park.

"We are very excited to be hosting this event to reconnect with our former students," said Theresa Bonk, director of student affairs at the New Kensington campus. "We want to find out how they are doing and how well the campus prepared them for the next step in their collegiate career at Penn State."
