'Penn State A.M.' looks at the local engineering industry

UPPER BURRELL, Pa. -- Penn State New Kensington's annual Alumni Breakfast is set for 8 a.m., Thursday, May 21, at Siemens in the Westmoreland County Business and Research Park on State Route 780 in Upper Burrell, Pennsylvania.

The morning social, formally called "Penn State A.M.," is an informal, one-hour breakfast for Penn State alumni and friends who will have the opportunity to get "inside the ropes" of the engineering industry. The free breakfast, with Happy Valley's famous grilled stickies highlighting the menu, will feature guest speakers from Siemens and the Penn State Alumni Association. An optional tour of the plant is a part of the program.

Co-hosted by the Alle-Kiski Society, the event is geared to alumni who live and work in the greater Alle-Kiski Valley area. It is a chance to get together with old friends and receive an update on the current buzz at Penn State and the region.

For more information on the breakfast, contact Bill Woodard at 724-334-6049 or uxw1@psu.edu.
