Kyle Stott, Charlene Gaus to speak at alumni breakfast May 21

Penn State alumnus Kyle Stott of Siemens Industry will be the keynote speaker at the spring Alumni Breakfast.

 

Siemens Industry, Alle-Kiski Society to host event

UPPER BURRELL, Pa. -- Kyle Stott of Siemens Industry and Charlene Gaus of the Penn State Alumni Association (PSAA) are the featured speakers at the next alumni breakfast set for 8 a.m., Thursday, May 21, at Siemens Industry in the Westmoreland Business and Research Park in Upper Burrell, Pennsylvania.

The morning social, officially called "Penn State A.M.," is an informal free breakfast geared to Penn State alumni and friends who live and work in the greater Pittsburgh region. With Happy Valley's famous Grilled Stickies highlighting the menu, guests can get a first-hand look at the global market.

Stott is the operations engineering manager at Siemens. He oversees Large Drives products and focuses on customer requirements. Siemens is a global business leader focused on growth through innovative and cost competitive power system design and manufacturing. Stott earned his MBA in International Business from Penn State and a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications from Gannon University.

Gaus serves as regional director of volunteer services for the PSAA. Prior to joining the alumni association in 2007, she was the alumni relations coordinator at Penn State DuBois. Gaus received a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from Penn State and a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

The alumni breakfast is co-hosted by the Alle-Kiski Alumni Society and Penn State New Kensington. In addition to the free breakfast, there are special door prizes, including a free entry fee for the 17th annual Alumni Golf Scramble scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 14, at the Links at Spring Church.
