FALL ACTIVITIES TOP THE AGENDA
6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 20, Tarentum Station
After a July recess, the Alle-Kiski Society of the Penn State Alumni Association opens its 2012-13 monthly meeting schedule at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, at J.G.’s Tarentum Station in Tarentum, Pa.
Among its many projects, the society sponsors the Alumni Golf Scramble on Aug. 10, the Alumni Central tent at the Fall Festival on Sept. 29, and the TV football party for the Penn State-Nebraska game on Nov. 10. The society meets the third Monday of each month and all alumni, parents of Penn State students, and friends of Penn State are encouraged to attend. Based on the New Kensington campus, the society represents more than 7,000 alumni living in the Alle-Kiski Valley.
