Students preparing for college entrance exams can review the SAT, which covers writing, critical reading and mathematics, with Penn State New Kensington’s SAT review course offered from 9 a.m. to noon, Sept. 28 to Oct. 26, on five consecutive Saturdays.
Course work includes test-taking strategies and studying tips. The course also will provide students with a suggested plan of study and timed practices. A new feature of the course is instruction on the college essay and application process. The cost of the course is $135 and includes a copy of "The Official SAT Study Guide." Upcoming SAT testing dates are Oct. 5, Nov. 2 and Dec. 7.
