After commencement officially ends the spring semester, the Lion will say good-bye to the 2014 graduates.
New Kensington commencement set for May 10
Classes end Friday, May 2, and final exams run from May 5 to May 9, as the spring semester comes to a close at Penn State New Kensington.
Commencement is set for 10 a.m., Saturday, May 10, in the campus Athletics Center. The New Kensington campus summer classes comprise five sessions of three weeks, five weeks, eight weeks or 12 weeks.
The first session runs three weeks, May 12 to May 30, followed by the 12-week session that runs from May 12 to Aug.1. The first eight-week session begins May 19 and ends July 11; the second eight-week session is scheduled June 1 to July 25; and the 11-week session starts on June 1 and goes until Aug. 15. A variety of classes are available during all sessions.
